Day 1 Transfer from Rome to your retreat in Umbria
Transfer from Rome to your hotel in the middle of Umbrian countryside. Stop in the medieval village of Narni, where you will enjoy a lovely view of the valley below. Settle in your boutique hotel in Umbria for three nights Day 2 Spoleto - Montefalco - Wine tasting Guided tour of Spoleto, which is rich in art and ancient monuments, in the morning. Have a wine tasting with lunch in a typical country farm near the town of Montefalco, well known for its famous wine production. Return to your hotel in the afternoon Day 3 Marmore waterfall - Piediluco Lake - River Nera valley Explore the River Nera valley dotted with ancient monuments, lovely villages and natural beauties like Marmore Fall, which is one of the tallest waterfalls in Europe and Piediluco Lake. Visit the sanctuary of Greccio, which is perched on a steep hill in a panoramic location, before returning to your hotel Day 4 Transfer to Rome Transfer to Rome airport/hotel or train station You can add extra nights in Rome or in Umbria, before or after the tour
