DESCRIPTION
Itinerary
Your private driver will pick you up at your ship's gangway and and set off in in a comfortable car or minivan to Montserrat. Upon reaching Montserrat, you will explore its 1,000-year old Santa Maria de Montserrat Basilica. Inside you'll discover the landmark's main attraction, the Virgin of Montserrat.
After visiting the Basilica, spend time exploring the Museum of Montserrat's many religious sculptures and artifacts.
You can skip the museum and enjoy the hiking trail that circles the mountain, offering great views of Catalonia. Or take a ride on the rack railway which winds its way around the mountaintop.
Next, arrive at a selected winery in the heart of the Pinedes wine region.
Have a wine cellar tour, and learn about complex productions processes and the region’s rich agricultural heritage during a tasting session.
At the end of the tour, your driver will escort you back to Tarragona.
