Meet your private driver at the Port, and travel through lush groves to Achillion Palace. This magnificent Neoclassical palace was built in 1891 by Empress Elizabeth 'Sissy' of Austria, with the mythical hero Achiles as its primary inspiration. You will visit the museum as well as the regal gardens, where you can take in amazing views of the surrounding woodlands.
After this, you will drive to The Mon Repo Palace which was built in 1828. The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, the British Queen's husband, was born (1921) and baptized here. The Greek Royal family spent their summer holidays at Mon Repos.
Head to Old Town Corfu and visit the old city, along the Esplanade including stops at St. Spyridon Church, the Old and New Venetian Fortresses, and the Palace of St. George.
In the afternoon you embark upon a driving tour to wonderful viewpoints on the island.
Travel along the scenic West Coast to the hilltop village of Lakones (Bella Vista). This impressive location offers the most spectacular views over the famous Bay of Paleokastritsa, its emerald seas and unusual rock formations.
Next, travel inland to the scenic village of Makrades, the Troumbetta Pass and the village of Scripero as you wind through the Ropa Valley.
After this, stop at a traditional Kumquat Distillery for a sip of the traditional island liqueur.
