Meet with your private driver at the Ajaccio Port to begin this informative 2 hour excursion.
The city of Ajaccio itself is the island's Capital and it is the home of one of history's most illustrious figures- Emporer Napolean Bonaparte. As you begin your tour out of town, stop at Place d'Austerlitz to see a monument celebrating the victories of this native son.
Continue along the winding coastal road Route des Sanguinaires on your journey to Pointe de la Parata, a promontory over the sea. Here you can take a nice walk to Torra di a Parata, a 16th century Genoese Tower that once served as a defense against Barbary Pirates.
Return to Ajaccio historic center where you can visit the Maison Bonaparte Museum, the home where Naploean was raised. See the Roman Catholic Cathedral where he was baptized, and relax by the lovely fountain in Place Foch.
At the end of the tour your driver will escort you back to Ajaccio Port or drop you off in the city center, where you can spend some time on your own, before walking back to your ship
