DESCRIPTION
Itinerary
After meeting your private driver at the Rhodes Port, take a scenic drive to Lindos. The route will take you through the beautiful landscapes of vibrant citrus groves, vineyards and olive trees, as well as dramatic views the coast and sea.
Upon arriving to Lindos, you will walk to the summit, or if you prefer you can take a donkey ride most of the way up. At the top, you find the Acropolis of Lindos and the spectacular remains of ancient civilizations. Here your guide will tell you about this history and explain important sites like the 4th century B.C Temple of Athena Lindia, a Byzantine Church, and the fortifications of the Knights of St. John.
Below is the village of Lindos, with its clusters of white-washed towns and winding streets.
The village is full of shops and its a great place to take a stroll. Visit a typical Ceramic Factory to see locally made wares.
Drive through the coast road of Faliraki marvelous beach and Kallithea Spa.
At the end of the tour your driver will take you back to the Rhodes Town, where you can stay for independent browsing and walk back to your ship (10 min walk) or being dropped off at the port.
