Day 1 Arrival at Lake Maggiore
Pick up at Milan train station/airport/hotel and transfer to Stresa, which is a lovely town at the shore of Lake Maggiore. Settle at your hotel and time at leisure
Day 2 Borromean Islands
Cruise out to the Borromean Islands, a gorgeous little trio of islands set in the middle of the glimmering waters. Explore Isola Madre, that houses a Renaissance villa and an amazing botanic garden with peacocks and pheasants. Visit the extraordinary palace and gardens in Isola Bella. Sumptuous rooms filled with paintings and ornate furniture make it easy to imagine the parties and balls that were once held there. Relax and take beautiful pictures in the Fishermen Island, which is a tiny piece of land full of little restaurants and shops. Return to your hotel in the afternoon.

Today you experience a fascinating train journey from Stresa to Locarno (Switzerland) through the picturesque “One Hundred Valleys”, passing deep gorges and glittering waterfalls. Travels across colorful alpine meadows, over 83 bridges, and through vineyards and forests of chestnut trees. Visit the lovely town of Locarno and take a cable car to the sanctuary of "Madonna del Sasso", which is one of the leading attractions in the Swiss town, also due to its marvelous view of Lake Maggiore. Return to Stresa with an unforgettable sunset cruise along the Lake Maggiore. A day to remember!

Today you explore the ancient village of Orta San Giulio which lies on charming Lake Orta, a true gem at a short distance from well-known lake Maggiore. Private transfer to Lake Orta, to see the highlights of its charming village and lake island. Step aboard a boat to cruise over the serene lake to Isola di San Giulio. Wander the cobblestone streets to the Roman Catholic basilica, then choose to stay on the island to explore more at your own pace. Transfer back to your hotel in Stresa in the afternoon

Day 6 Turin
Visit Turin, famous for being the home of Italy's former royal family. Turin, with its fine, aristocratic atmosphere, old world sophisticated shops, grand boulevards and palaces, leafy parks, and several art galleries, is an increasingly popular tourist resort. Have a guided tour of the city center in the afternoon and see the Royal Palace, St Charles square and Via Po, an interesting walking street with long arcades and many historic palaces.

Some of the top attractions include the Gallery Vittorio Emanuele II with its 19th century glass-vaulted arcade, Sforza Castle, and La Scala Opera House, one of the world's best known opera houses. Enjoy a skip-the-line ticket of the Duomo and visit the third largest catholic church in the world. After this, have some time at leisure for shopping and personal activities.
